Most people encounter Vastu Shastra as a checklist applied after a floor plan is already fixed: move the kitchen, shift the entrance, add a mirror. That approach almost always means compromising either the Vastu principle or the structural plan, because the two were never designed together.
Grid Vastu Planning, as we practice it, starts at the same stage as the structural column grid. Orientation, zoning and room placement are studied alongside beam spans and load paths, so the final layout satisfies both the classical Vastu framework and sound structural logic, without one being sacrificed for the other.
In practice, this means a Vastu consultant and a structural engineer are in the same design conversation from week one, not brought in separately at the end. For an existing or constrained plot where an ideal placement isn't possible, we document practical remedial adjustments rather than forcing a layout that won't work structurally.
